April Thomas is a Partner and experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, advising businesses for more than 17 years. She works with in‑house legal teams, management teams, boards and business owners providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice across a broad range of industries.

April advises on all aspects of commercial and corporate law, including contract creation, review and negotiation, Australian Consumer Law, intellectual property, privacy compliance, governance, dispute resolution and general business strategy. She is particularly experienced in working with clients in the research and development space, health, FMCG, e‑commerce, creative, digital agencies, agriculture, not‑for‑profit and communications sectors. April also has experience in advising government funded and government adjacent organisations and understands the technicalities of working in this space.

Before joining Seneworth Legal Partners in 2020, April held senior in‑house legal roles at global healthcare company, Johnson & Johnson for more than seven years and previously practised in the commercial and corporate team at a top‑tier Sydney law firm. This combination of private practice and in‑house experience gives her a strong understanding of both legal risk and commercial realities.
