Meet Justin Senescall

Justin Senescall is the Managing Principal and founder of Seneworth Law and a highly experienced intellectual property lawyer, with 25 years’ experience advising Australian and international clients on the protection, management commercialisation and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Justin advises on all aspects of intellectual property law, including IP strategy and structuring, major trade mark portfolio management, trade mark registration, opposition and enforcement, copyright and designs, confidential information, licensing, assignments and IP disputes. He works with clients across a wide range of industries, including creative agencies, retail and consumer brands, fashion, automotive, agriculture, financial services, FMCG and health.

Seneworth Law was founded on Justin’s passion for understanding his clients’ businesses and building long‑term, collaborative relationships that deliver practical, innovative and commercially focused outcomes. Clients value his ability to distil complex IP issues into clear, strategic advice and describe him as commercial, thorough and straight‑shooting, with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Laws (Intellectual Property) from Queensland University of Technology. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and founded Seneworth Legal Partners in 2017.
